Efeeo closes the governance gap AI created

We believe AI-native software delivery needs AI-native product security governance - but consequential decisions still require human accountability.

Why Efeeo

AI changed the economics of governance.

As software factories become increasingly autonomous, the limiting factor shifts from engineering throughput to an organization's capacity for trustworthy, auditable security decisions. Product security therefore evolves, from a findings-coordination function into the governance function for consequential product decisions.

The old model assumed humans could manually inspect a manageable number of software decisions. AI agents changed that volume, speed, and provenance. Efeeo gives teams a way to preserve accountability without pretending manual governance can scale alone.

Efeeo is built by operators with deep experience across product security, governance, compliance, software delivery, and enterprise risk.

Principles

The operating principles behind the platform.

No false all-clears

Coverage gaps and unknowns must be visible in the record.

Deterministic by design

Same evidence, same result. No improvised dispositions.

Humans own decisions

AI can work the case, but owners sign the disposition. Judgment is the scarce asset; the platform exists to protect it.

Evidence outlives urgency

The record should survive advisory pressure, audits, and board review.

Francis Ofungwu

Founder & CEO

Francis has spent twenty years putting security programs inside the software delivery workflows they govern: hybrid cloud security product management at Rackspace, fractional CISO work in Optiv's Office of the CISO, Managing Director for the cloud and DevSecOps practices at Protiviti, Business Information Security Officer at Salesforce (MuleSoft), and Global Field CISO at GitLab — working with engineering organizations as AI entered the delivery chain faster than their governance could follow.

The throughline of that career is a single argument: security has to live in how software is actually built — and now in how AI builds it. He has made that case in keynotes and panels across six countries and four continents, from Forum InCyber in France and the Africa Cyber Safe Summit in Morocco to OpenSSF, AWS, and CISO forums across the United States and Australia.

He holds a CISSP, is an ISO 27001 Master Implementer, and earned an MBA from UT Austin's McCombs School of Business, an MSc in Information Security from the University of London, and a certificate in Applied Generative AI from Johns Hopkins University.
